1.Agreeing to these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and DukanChat (registered business name). By creating a shop or using dukanchat.com, app.dukanchat.com or any shop page on dukanchat.com, you agree to them. If you use DukanChat for a business, you agree on behalf of that business.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.
2.What DukanChat does
DukanChat gives sellers a shop page on their own link, like yourshop.dukanchat.com, where customers can browse products, build a cart and send the order to the seller on WhatsApp. Sellers also get a dashboard to manage products and orders.
DukanChat is not a party to any sale. The sale is between the seller and the customer. We don't sell, stock, deliver or collect payment for sellers' products, and we don't act as an agent for either side.
3.Your account
- You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding agreement.
- Give us accurate information and keep it up to date, including your WhatsApp number.
- Keep your sign-in secure. You're responsible for everything that happens in your account.
- One person or business may run more than one shop, but each shop must follow these terms.
4.Your shop link
- Shop links can use lowercase letters, numbers and hyphens, from 3 to 30 characters.
- Some names are reserved, such as app, api, admin, www and support.
- You may not choose a name that copies a brand, business or person you don't represent, or that is likely to mislead customers. We may change or reclaim a shop link that does, or one that has been inactive for a long time on the free plan.
- The number of times you can change your link may be limited. When you change it, your old link will redirect to the new one where possible.
5.Seller responsibilities
As a seller, you are responsible for your shop and your business. In particular, you agree to:
- sell only products you are allowed to sell, and follow all laws that apply to your business, including tax, consumer protection and product safety rules
- describe products, prices, delivery charges and payment terms honestly and accurately
- fulfil orders you accept, and handle returns, refunds, exchanges and complaints with your customers
- handle customer details only to fulfil and support their orders, and keep them private
- own, or have permission to use, every photo, logo and piece of text you upload
Cash on delivery, advance payments by JazzCash, Easypaisa or bank transfer, and any disputes about them, are between you and your customer. DukanChat does not hold or guarantee these payments.
6.What you can't sell or do
You may not use DukanChat to:
- sell anything illegal in Pakistan or where your customers are, including weapons, drugs, prescription medicines without authorisation, counterfeit or stolen goods, or adult content
- scam, mislead or harass customers, or take payment for orders you don't intend to fulfil
- upload content that infringes someone else's rights or is hateful, violent or obscene
- send spam, collect data you're not entitled to, or try to access other sellers' data
- overload, hack, copy or reverse engineer the service, or resell it without our permission
We may remove content, suspend a shop or close an account that breaks these rules, usually with notice, and without notice where there's a risk of harm.
7.Plans, billing and free offers
- Free plan: up to 10 products, unlimited WhatsApp orders, and a small "Made with DukanChat" note on your shop.
- Basic and Pro: paid monthly or yearly in Pakistani rupees, at the prices shown on our website when you subscribe. Yearly plans include 2 months free compared with paying monthly.
- Early seller offer: the first 30 shops to subscribe get their first month of Basic free. One free month per seller; we may end or change promotional offers at any time, but not for someone who has already claimed it.
- Renewal: paid plans renew at the end of each billing period until you cancel. If a payment fails, we'll remind you, and if it isn't paid your shop will move to the free plan. Products above the free limit are hidden, not deleted.
- Cancelling: you can cancel any time. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you've paid for. We don't refund partial months or unused time, unless the law requires it or we've made a billing mistake.
- Price changes: we'll tell you at least 30 days before a price change affects your plan.
- Features marked "coming soon" are not included in the price until they launch.
8.Your content
You own your products, photos, logo and shop content. You give DukanChat permission to host, copy, resize and display that content only to run your shop and the service, including showing link previews when your shop is shared. This permission ends when you delete the content or your account, apart from copies in backups for a limited time.
If you believe a shop is using your content without permission, email us with details and we'll look into it.
9.Our service
The DukanChat name, logo, software and design belong to us. We work hard to keep DukanChat fast and available, but we can't promise it will never be interrupted, for example during maintenance or problems with our providers or with WhatsApp. We may improve, change or remove features. If we make a change that significantly reduces what a paid plan includes, we'll tell you in advance.
WhatsApp is a product of Meta. DukanChat is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by WhatsApp or Meta, and we can't control changes WhatsApp makes to how its links or app work.
10.Closing your account
You can delete your account at any time from the dashboard or by emailing us. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts customers or other sellers at risk, or hasn't paid. Where possible we'll tell you why and give you a chance to fix it or export your data first.
11.Disclaimers
DukanChat is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we don't make promises about the service beyond those in these terms, including that it will meet every need of your business or be free of errors. We are not responsible for sellers' products, customers' conduct, delivery by couriers, or payments made between sellers and customers.
12.Limit of our liability
To the extent the law allows, DukanChat is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, lost sales, lost data or damage to reputation. Our total liability to you for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim, or Rs 5,000 if that is more. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
You agree to cover our reasonable costs if a claim is brought against us because of your products, your content, or your breach of these terms or the law.
13.Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as DukanChat grows. We'll update the date at the top, and for important changes we'll tell sellers by email or in the dashboard at least 14 days before they take effect. If you keep using DukanChat after that, you accept the new terms.
14.Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. If we have a disagreement, please contact us first so we can try to solve it together. If we can't, the courts of city, Pakistan will have jurisdiction.
